Alpine Golf Resort in Chiang Mai was formally called the Chiang Mai Lamphun GV, and is set over 450 rai of beautiful terrain, located in a valley between the San Kampaeng forests and mountain ranges, making it one of the most awe-inspiring backdrops for any golf course in Thailand.
The course was designed by world-famous golf architect, Ron M. Garl, known for his work at TPC at Prestansia and Palm Beach Polo Club in Florida. Although the course is quite difficult from the back-tees, due to the length, players of all abilities can enjoy this stunning course, and with its most memorable holes being the Par-5 4th-hole (see below), the 444-yard long 5th-hole and the breathtaking 9th-hole with its beautiful island-fairway.  This is a course that combines excellent conditions, the best playability and the most stunning natural scenery.
Also make sure to keep your eye out for the most difficult hole on the course, the par-4 11th-hole, which is 524 yards long and has a dogleg left with water flanking the fairway.

This awesome par-5 hole is a massive 652-yards in length, making it one of the longest holes in Thailand. This really is one of the most interesting holes you will ever play, and with it being so long, is a golf experience like no other.
