The Springfield Royal Country Club is located in the Hua Hin COuntryside on the way to Cha-Am and was first constructed in 1993 and was designed by golfing legend, Jack Nicklaus. Jack originally designed the first 18-holes, but in recent years, another 9-hole course was added that now takes the club’s tally to 27-holes. The third 9-holes was constructed in 2005 by Schmitt Curley, and although it had initial teething problems, is now a perfect part of the club.

As with many Jack Nicklaus designed courses, the fairways are long and there are lots of fairway bunkers and water hazards to keep you honest. This course is ideal for golfers of all ages and abilities, but if you are playing from the back-tees, you need to be an exceptionally long hitter.
